Chemical composition and mechanical properties:
Carbon content: Precisely calibrated, the carbon content in Grade A is capped at 0.25%, Grade B ranges from 0.18-0.25%, and Grade C extends from 0.25-0.35%. This gradation ensures optimized strength while balancing the risks of quenching and toughness retention.
Manganese content: Spanning approximately 0.29-1.06%, manganese plays a crucial role in refining grain size and enhancing both tensile and compressive strength through the fortification of ferrite.
Silicon content: Kept stable at about 0.10%, silicon is essential for the deoxidation and purification of molten steel, ensuring clarity and consistency in the material.
Tensile strength and yield strength: The tensile strength and yield benchmarks are set high: Grade A offers a tensile strength of not less than 330MPa and yield strength of 207MPa; For Grade B, these values soar to 415MPa and 240MPa respectively; While Grade C exhibits 485MPa and 275MPa, ensuring robust performance under pressure.
