   Precision steel pipes inherit the advantages of seamless steel pipes while also possessing some of their own characteristics. Precision manufacturing of circular parts can improve material utilization, simplify manufacturing processes, save materials and processing time, such as rolling bearing rings, jack sleeves, etc., which have been widely manufactured using precision steel pipes. The promotion and application of precision seamless pipes are of great significance for saving steel, improving processing efficiency, reducing processing procedures or equipment investment, saving costs and processing hours, increasing production volume and material utilization, and improving product quality, reducing costs, which is of great significance for improving economic benefits. Generally, industries with high precision requirements use precision seamless pipes, while those without precision requirements mostly use seamless pipes, as the price of precision seamless pipes of the same specifications is higher than that of seamless pipes

 

    The solid billet is inspected and surface defects are removed to cut it into the required length. It is centered on the end face of the billet at the perforation end and then sent to a heating furnace for heating. It is perforated on a perforating machine while continuously rotating and advancing. Under the action of the rolling mill and the top, a cavity is gradually formed inside the billet, called a capillary tube. It is then sent to an automatic pipe rolling machine for further rolling. Finally, the wall thickness is uniformly adjusted by the whole machine, and the diameter is adjusted by a sizing or reducing machine to meet the specification requirements
    If you want to obtain seamless pipes with smaller size and better quality, you must use cold rolling and cold drawing or a combination of both methods. Cold rolling is usually carried out on a two roll rolling mill, where the steel pipe is rolled in a circular hole formed by a variable cross-section circular hole groove and a stationary conical top. Cold drawing is usually carried out on a single chain or double chain cold drawing machine using extrusion method. The heated pipe blank is placed in a closed extrusion cylinder, and the perforation rod and extrusion rod move together to extrude the extruded part from the smaller die hole. This method can produce steel pipes with smaller diameters.
