Manganese Content: Ranging from approximately 0.29-1.06%, manganese plays a crucial role in refining grain size, strengthening ferrite, and boosting both tensile and compressive strengths.
Silicon Content: Maintained at around 0.10%, silicon is vital for the deoxidation and purification processes of molten steel, ensuring material purity and quality.
Tensile Strength and Yield Strength: Grade A requires a minimum tensile strength of 330MPa and a yield strength of at least 207MPa. For Grade B, these values rise to 415MPa and 240MPa, respectively, while Grade C demands 485MPa and 275MPa, showcasing the increasing strength across grades.
Elongation Rate: A crucial factor, the elongation rate should exceed 30%, ensuring that the steel pipe can effectively absorb energy through deformation during impacts, thus preventing brittle fractures.
